Privacy Policy

High5 is built by GRVT, Inc ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect and why, in plain language. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run pickup games, we don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Game data. Games you create (sport, title, time, location, cost, notes) and the roster of names people enter when they join. This is the product working as intended — game pages are visible to anyone with the link, and games you mark Public are visible in the app's Discover feed.
- Your display name. The name you enter, shown to hosts and other players on games you join.
- Account data (optional). If you sign in with Apple or Google we store your name, email, and a provider identifier so your games can follow you to a new device. You can use High5 fully without an account.
- Device identifier. A random key generated on your device links you to games you host. It is not tied to your identity unless you sign in.
- Location (optional, while using the app). Used to suggest nearby venues while you type and to centre the map. Never stored on our servers.
- Usage events. Anonymous product events (e.g. "game created", "player joined") to understand what's working. No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics SDKs.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
- We don't show ads or use advertising trackers.
- We don't read your calendar — adding a game uses write-only access.
Where data lives
Data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure. Sign-in tokens are verified server-side with Apple and Google; we never see your passwords.
Deleting your data
- Account: Profile → Account → Delete account removes your account, sessions, and the link between your device and your games, immediately and permanently.
- A join: leave the game from the app or the game page and your name comes off the roster.
- A game: hosts can cancel a game; cancelled and past games age out of public visibility.

Children
High5 is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update this page and the effective date above.
